Straddle-mambo back
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 16584)
Starting on right. lead with right. side to the step (Whole combo is 4x8 or 32 counts)
- Step knee-up straddle down (1-4)
- Two hops in the straddle and mambo back* (5-8)
- 1/2 An L-step (so you are on the left side of the step) (1-4)
- Sweep it across the step (5-8)
- (Baby) reverse hop turn** (left foot on step) (1-4)
- Walk or chasse around the step (counterclock-wise) (5-8)
- Side leg lift (lift right leg) on front of step (1-4)
- Reverse walk-over (left-right-left-right) (5-8)
Reverse the combo to the left
* In the two-hops, you can do bounces to keep it lower impact. In the mambo back, make sure to lift the right foot up and bring it all the way behind the step
** I call it a baby-reverse hop turn because you're just going from the side of the step to the back of the step.
