Intermediate to Advanced Step 3x32
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 16700)
An intermediate to advanced step class.
N.B.! You start with right leg lead and change to left in the middle of the second combos. When teaching people to put combos together make sure to march in between to make sure no one ends up to the wrong side of the step as a result of many turns! ;)
Combo 1 (right leg lead)
- Turnstep (4)
- Over the top (4)
- Turnstep (4)
- Left knee, straddle down, right knee, straddle down, left triple knee and step down (16) -N.B.! teach as two singles and one three knee repeater to begin with, stay here if it's a beginner class!
- Over the top (4)
Combo 2
- 2x Basic (8)
- Mambo cha-cha-cha in the middle (4)
- 2x Grapevine (arms: cross, open, cross, down) (8)
- Rocking horse (8)
- V-step (4)
N.B.! Again, if teaching beginners, replace rocking horse with single-single-triple or knee-lift-knee instead of ham curls
N.B.! After rocking horse it's left leg lead
Combo 3
- L-step (8)
- Hop turn (4)
- V-step with squat on the step (8: step up-down-down-up-up-step down)
- L-step
- Over the top
- V-step with squat
N.B.! The third combo should always be easier than two first ones!
