Hi/Lo Warmup
This is a
Warmup pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 16325)
- Alternating side toe taps
(with alternating arms above head) (4)
(with alternating arms across chest) (4)
(with tricep kickback arms) (4)
(end with arms across chest to go into lunges) (4)
- Single lunges (4) (arms across chest)
- Double lunges (4) (arms overhead pulling down)
- Single single double lunges (4) (arms across chest then arms pulling down on the double)
- Single lunges (4)
- Center out to alternating side toe taps (4)
- Stationary plie stance then lunge it side to side starting right (4) (with shoulder presses)
Then go into inner thigh stetches, reach and pulls, hip flexor stretches, etc. on the right side.
- Stationary plie stance then lunge it side to side starting left (4) (with arms chest level and elbows inline with underarms, squeeze shoulder blades together.)
Then stretches on the left side.
- Center to squat position for low back stretch (4)
- Walk toes in and march it out (4)
