Jirina's ABS - bicycle variations
This is an
Abs pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 16336)
This is a variation to your regular bicycle. (I use Pilates bicycle-knees going in out, not really pedaling)
- Start doing your bicycles, to make it extra tough you can play with the speed, add pause etc.
- To add extra challenge keep you legs straight
- In a regular bicycle, instead of twisting side to side, keep your torso center and steady and shoulders of the floor, keep going with the legs.
- To add to that (this one is really tough, the extra fit people can appreciate this one), with your torso steady, up and center and your legs going in a bicycle, crunch your upper up when you right knee is in and lower when your left knee is in. of course, later switch.
Make sure to let everyone know to keep their low back on the floor, no matter what, if it starts lifting... "put your hands under your glutes, do the legs only, BUT keep your shoulders OFF the floor" and if they are crunching up with the knee, let them crunch up too, even if the hands are under the butt.
Any questions, let me know :) And if you have other variations to the bicycle, please, email me :)
Love,
Jirina
