Simple but fun
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 16364)
I use this for my 50/50 class where the first half hour is step and the second half hour is strength. The first combo can also serve as a warm up, as I only have 30 minutes to go through it all. Right lead first, then change at the end.
1.
- 3 V-steps right (12)
- 1 V-step tap right (like a V-step, only you tap with your left food, so that you change leads) (4)
- 3 V-steps left (12)
- 1 V-step tap left (4)
2.
- 3 Step-touches on step (facing west wall) (12)
- Walk (sideways) over the step (as a continuation of the step touch) (4)
- You are now facing the west wall on the north side of the step. Do an L-step facing the south wall, so that on counts 1-2 you step up on step, on counts 3-4 you step down on the west side, still facing south. (4)
- Pony or step touch on floor back to starting position (4)
- Mambo left, right (on count one place your right foot on step, step down on 2-3, on count 4 place your left foot on step; on counts 5-8 either march on floor or do a 360 turn) (8)
3.
- Leg curls / heel kicks alternating right/left x4 (2 on each leg: right/left/right/left) (16)
- Side kicks right/left (8)
- Triple knee repeater right (8)
Repeat on left
Hope this makes sense. Any questions, please email me!
