Mambo's Everywhere
This is a
Hi/Lo pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 16493)
This routine has alot of mambo's but they are my favorite so it's fun! I've taken bits and pieces from other routines I've looked at on this site so you might recognize some moves!
This is a 4 part hi/lo routine. Assuming the right lead all parts are 32 counts.
Part I
- Grapevine right to left
- V-step right, mambo right foot, cha cha cha
- V-step left, mambo left foot, cha cha cha
- V-step right, mambo right foot (full mambo, no cha cha)
Part II
- 4 Ham curls (left heel first)
- 2 Mambo right
- 4 Alternating knee lifts moving forward (step with right foot then bring up left knee to start the alternating knee lifts)
- 4 Step slide moving back going towards the back right corner first (right corner, left corner, right, left)
Part III
- Grapevine right
- V-step right
- 4 Side lunge right to left
- 4 Back lunge right to left
- 4 Heel digs right to left
Part IV
- X-step
- 4 Scoops up (a scoop is a step hop - go from right to left, right to left)
- 4 Step slide moving back (right corner first)
- Ham curls (starting with left heel) Single, single and then double left.
The end gets you onto the left leg so you can repeat the routine on the left.
Enjoy and let me know if you have any questions!
