Cross Travel

Divide the class in half. Instruct each half to go to opposite sides of the pool. Instruct the participants to change sides by traveling across the pool.
Use a different move each time they cross. Below are several moves that work well while traveling across to the other side:
- Jog- various arm moves each time
- Jacks, forward or sideways
- Ski
- Hop, forward or sideways
- Twist side to side, mogul style
- Hop scotch
- Side shuffle
- Walk on heels
- Walk on toes
- Forward kicks
- Hamstring curls
- High knees, wide or together
- Rocking horse
- Football drill: legs cross right over left, wide, left over right
- Squats
- Lunges...
