Kickbox Drill
This is a
BoxAerobics pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 16655)
This is a pattern I add in to the middle/end of the kick box class for some extra leg work.
- Back kicks 16 X (bent over low, tighten the glutes with each kick)
- Lunge, come up and front kick right 16 X
- Alternate front kicks with a squat 16X
- Lunge with a left kick 16 X
- Squat low come up to side kick 16X
- Squats and squat pulses 16
- Squat low and come up to side kick left 16X
- Back kicks 16X
- Right knee left back kick 16X then repeat with other leg
- End with glute work while standing pulse side kicks, back kick, and front kicks with both legs.
- For the finale, end with 16 burpees or military moves to drive up that heart rate!!
