Athletic Step
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 16624)
This step is more athletic and less like dance. Men will participate. It can be very advanced with faster music and higher impact or beginner/inter. I have both levels in my classes so I always show the low impact option and then go on to the higher. Please feel free to email me with any questions.
Warm up
About 3-5 minutes of floor aerobics and stretching. Hustles, grapevines, knee lifts, etc. Then on the step for getting a feel for the height and reminding everyone to step "whole foot on the bench".
