In The Jungle
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 16774)
(I always start this pattern from a 16 count march on top of the bench)
- 8 Hamstring curls on top of the bench
- Step down on front, immediately into 8 sidesteps
- 3 Sets of grapevines, then:
- Make a half-diamond around the end of the step with the next grapevine;
do 2 basic steps
do 2 supermans (back leg lifts)
do 1 triple-repeater superman
- Repeat all starting with the other side:
- 8 Hamstring curls on top of the bench
- Step down on front, immediately into 8 sidesteps
- 3 Sets of grapevines, then:
- Make a half-diamond around the end of the step with the next grapevine;
do 2 basic steps
do 2 supermans
do 1 triple-repeater superman
NOW-- repeat all, but cut the numbers of things in half, except the repeater. You may need to tweak the numbers of reps I put here to coincide with your music. I usually start cutting down the reps as soon as I feel certain everyone's getting it. Encourage students to use big movements on the grapevines, and to use as much space as possible. Have fun! any questions? Email me.
