This is a
Hi/Lo pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 16742)
4 Blocks, 32 counts each. I teach each block on the right lead then left lead. At the end I combine all blocks and go right to left.
Block 1:
- Grapevine right ending with 3 ham curls on left leg. To make it funky take the ham curls in a circle.
- Grapevine left ending with 3 ham curls in a circle.
- Jog up for 4, hop back 2 counts on right foot then 2 counts on left foot.
- Jog up again for 4, hop back 2 counts on right foot then left foot.
Block 2:
- 4 Side lunges (right side first).
- Hop box (each foot is 2 counts). Start on right foot facing front left foot facing left wall, right foot facing back wall, left foot facing right/front).
- 2 Steps to the right, cross country ski (or scissor) for remaining 4 counts.
- 2 Steps to the left, cross country ski.
Block 3:
- X-step right foot.
- Mambo to the left corner, cha cha cha, mambo to the right corner.
- X-step right foot again.
- Mambo to the left corner, cha cha cha, mambo to the right corner.
Block 4:
- Grapevine right to left.
- Speed skate for 4 (or step touch)
- Grapevine right to left.
- Ham curls starting with left leg single single double.
This changes your lead to the left leg to repeat on the left side.
