Moni's German Step-Fun intermediate/advanced
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 16744)
First block A
- 1/2 Basic on top (right, left) 1-2
- Walk right with right foot into a pivot turn 3-5
- Walk back on top facing north side with left, right foot 6-7
- Left foot on floor in front of step 8
- Walk on top again right/left 1-2
- Now do a 6 point mambo from the top but to the right (east side) 3
- On top again left/right foot 4-5
- And the left (west side) of the step 6
- On top again right / left foot 7-8
- 6 Point mambo from the top now to the north side of the step down on the floor 1-6
- With a half turn walk down right/left foot 7-8 (still facing north side)
- Now do a mambo chacha facing the south side 1-4
- Back in front of the step with two step touch or you can also just walk 5-8
Repeat everything with left foot
Second Block B
- Reverse turn 1-4
- 1/2 Basic with a half turn on top (now facing the south wall) 5-6
- Lunge back alternating (four lunges) 7-8, 1-6 (right, left etc.)
- Walk down on the floor 7-8 (still facing south wall)

1 Repeater straddle down (now facing the east wall) 1-8
2 Basic cross over at each small side of the bench 1-8 (first at east side, second at west side) like a box step
Now you are back and face the north wall
Repeat everything with left
Third Block C
- 1 Basic turns over the top 1-4
- With 2 chassees around the east side of the step 5-8
- Now you are back again in front of the step with a side leg lift hop over the top and do a half turn 1-2 (right foot on top, left side leg lift hops over the top)
- And straddle down (now face the east side) 3-4
- One basic left at the small west side of the bench 5-8
- Shuffle forward (left foot on top) 1 and 2, 3-4
- Shuffle backward (right foot on top, but always 5 and 6, 7-8 facing the east wall)
- 6 Point Mambo at the west side of the bench, facing the east wall) 1-6
- With 7-8 walk/turn back in front of the bench 7-8
And repeat everything with left
Later it is fun to use the layer method.
