This exercise requires resistance bands. It is a little hard for the class to get the placement correct, but walk them through it while demonstrating it then walk around and help folks. Take the resistance band and lay it across the top of your feet (do not move it from this location); pick up the handle on the right side and then lift your right toes (band remains on top of feet) and loop the band underneath your feet; repeat on left side. Now you have the band securely around your feet. Switch the handles from your left hand to your right and vice versa so you make an x. Now get into a squat position and start walking in a big circle around the room (like a platypus or duck walk). Keep going until it burns - the bands will add a lot of resistance! After going around 2-4 times, stop and start doing big knees - this will burn - keep doing those big knees for 16 reps! Ouch!
