Busta move basic step
This is a
Step pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 16842)
This combination uses the basic step moves but I have added some intensity and my class has really enjoys this combo and everyone has been able to keep up to the pattern
Basic pattern combo 1
- Basic step - 8 count
- Repeater knees - around the edge of the bench (8 counts) then back around and travel to other side. 16 counts each side
- Turnstep - 8 counts
Then I add on: combo 2
Combo 2
- Over the top, step knee, side kick - burst up and over back - 8 count
- Alternating L-shape with knee smashes - 8 count
- Alternating - step knee off edge knee up and across the top (length of step) repeat other side. 8 counts
- Basic step - start from the beginning.
By going around the edge of the bench during the repeater knees and back adds extra hops and works those obliques during the knee smashes.
Also, as you probably already know, bursting up and over the width or the length of the step adds intensity as well.
This is a fun combo to teach, hope you can use it in your own classes.
