Great for intermediate classes, this has gone down really well in my sessions!
- 1x Basic (4)
- 1x Samba up right, down, down, 1x samba up left, down down* (10)
- 1x Stomp right (3)
- 1x Stomp left and straddle (3)
- 1x Knee raise facing the back (4)
- Up, up, 2x alternating side lunges, exit down, down to front. (8)
Repeat left lead
- 1x Basic (4)
- Up, up, 1x back right (4)
- 1x Double lunge back right, exit down down (6)
- 1x Double mambo-cha-cha travelling laterally** (6)
- Facing side, up, 2x alternating knee raises on top, straddle down (6)
- 1x Double-knee repeater (6)
(Repeat left lead)
- 1x Basic (4)
- 2x Alternating wide curls on top (4)
- Halfway across the top (counts 9,10) (2)
- Stepping off the small end, hips right,left,right (1&2 rhythm) (2)
- Step left foot onto small end, jazz square to the front (4)
- 1x Kick travel (4)
- Facing side - 4x pendulums on top, exit down to the back (6)
- 1x Basic over the top (ending front) (4)
- 1x Jack on the floor
(Repeat left lead)
* Samba - After the basic, turn to face east wall as you step the right foot up, (1) rock the left foot behind on top (2,3), exit down left,right (4,5). Repeat to the opposite side on the opposite lead.
** Double mambo cha-cha - just like a normal mambo cha-cha, except there are two stomps on the step (1-4) and a cha-cha on the floor laterally turning you to face the side wall (5&6).
