Water Stations
This is an
Aquatic pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 16994)
For a change of pace it's fun to set up Water stations for a break in the middle of a work-out. You can write on foam sheets with permanent markers and tape station names to the wall by where they will be done. I keep them in each station 90 seconds to two minutes and encourage them to hussle to the next station to keep the cardio level up. Here are some suggestions.
- Resistant Run - using resistant bands loop one around stair bars then holding on to ends run out as far as you can and pump arms while running
- Wall Station - holding side of wall flutter kick or do wall crunches by putting both feet on wall then kicking both feet behind body keeping knees together
- Kick Board Stations - standing crunches (cruch both knees up to board)
- Noodle Station - in middle to deep end do Bike, Pony, Sizzors ect
- Travel Station - perform travel steps like Frog Leaps, Rocking horse, Jaxs ect.
