(pattern 17137)
Thanks to everyone who takes time to post. You have given me great ideas over the years. My class loves this work out section. It's just a back and forth from Jacks to Kicks changing them up each time.
A. After warm up start with
- Regular jacks
- Regular front kicks (small medium large) (30 to 45 seconds each)
B.
- Add a hop to your jacks (out in out hop, in out in hop)
- Line dance with the kicks (knee kick knee kick across body arms straight to side) do 2 times and switch leg
C.
- Star jack (1/2 a cross country and 1 jack)
- Hammer kick (bend leg across body and kick in and out while hopping on other foot
D.
- Hop jack (hop forward hop back and jack) If you want to get fancy hop forward, hop back, hop back, hop forward, then 2 jacks
- Swing kick (one leg kicks forward and back pivoting around body to make a circle)
E.
- Divided jack (two half jacks then 2 whole jacks- we say side-together, side-together jack jack.)
- Karate kick (bend at waist knee-kick to side)
F.
