Kickboxing for the semi-uncoordinated
This is a
BoxAerobics pattern from
www.turnstep.com.
(pattern 17051)
- Side step with a jab (8 counts)
- Hamstring curls with an uppercut (8 counts)
- Alternating knees with a side twist (8 counts)
- Repeat
Repeat same pattern with 4 counts
....now we add movement
- Side step with a jab, stepping forward for 4 counts
- Hamstring curls with uppercut, stepping backwards for 4 counts
- Alternating knee with a side twist (4 counts)
...now we add on..
- Shuffle to the right (4 counts)
- Shuffle to the left (4 counts)
- Repeat alternating left to right for a total of 4 X's
....now add on a cross job for 4 X's more
.....now put it all together...
- Side step with a jab, stepping forward for 4 counts
- Hamstring curls with uppercut, stepping backwards for 4 counts
- Alternating knee with a side twist (4 counts)
- Shuffle to the right with cross jab (4 counts)
- Shuffle to the left with cross jab (4 counts)
.....Repeat for a total 8X's total
.....Add on....
- Side kick (8 counts)
- Repeat complete combo, breaking down the shuffle/jab to 4X's and with side kick 4X's
You're done! Now moving on to the next combo...
- Side kick/ cross jab to the right (8 counts)
- Crossjab (8 counts)
- Cross jab/ side kick to the left (8 counts)
- Repeat combo (4 counts) on right side and then left side
- Repeat combo (2 counts) on right side and the left side
....adding on
- Cross jab to the right, right knee, side kick left, uppercut with right (8 counts)
- Alternate uppercut (8 counts)
- Cross jab to the left, left knee, side kick right, uppercut with left (8 counts)
- Repeat combo breaking down to 4 counts each side, then 2 counts, then one combo each side.
Done with that combo
Now you're on own. But that will last a couple of songs.
