Now, you are facing the back of the room and you will be on your left lead. You might want to begin again with four regular traveling L-steps, in case any new members are nervous that their backs are to you. Repeat steps 2, 3, and 4.

*Speed Skate: step onto the center of your bench with your right foot on one, then tap your left foot (leg straightened) outside the left end of the bench on two. Swing the left foot in on three, out on four, in on five, and out again on six. Switch legs on seven-eight and repeat from the right side of the bench. (Remember to begin this side of the combination by stepping up left in the center.)
